A little context
It started with
one fire.
Choconfest started in 2008 as a weekend of camping, asado, and fire by the lake. It was cold and windy, but we had fun, and a tradition began.
It’s a gathering where we laugh, sing, dance, eat, and catch up. Sometimes we just sit in silence and let the fire’s warmth bind our friendship.
Over the years we got better at cooking and pitching tents. Kids arrived, joined in, and learned to fish. One thing never changes: we have a great time together, and even when we’re exhausted and craving a real bed, we always want to come back.
